Where do I begin the compliments?

First, let me begin this story by saying that I am a wedding planner in south-east Iowa, and I have seen my fair share of florists, arrangements, and quality of aforementioned.  Every time I talk with a bride, the first thing out of her mouth when it comes to her floral is “I have a friend doing it”.  This usually means a high school classmate, friend of the family, or aunt/sister/cousin who works at or as a florist is willing to coerce someone into giving the bride a discount on their floral arrangements and bouquets - granted, not a large discount, but better than I can get at local florists, even as a wedding planner.  I cannot say enough how iffy I feel about this, and have tried many ways around this in the past, only to be overruled and unimpressed with a final result.

When I myself got engaged this past spring, I was determined to find floral that I could afford, enjoy, appreciate it’s quality, and still get that ’shock’ factor that every bride wants on her special day.  Orchids and Callas have always been favorites of my (now) husband and I, and I was determined to call every florist within 150 miles to find the best deal.  However, when cruising around on the internet, I randomly saw a post for your site (I wish I had remembered where I saw it, but unfortunately, I do not).  After looking everything over, I thought that the wedding-in-a-box was the best deal I could get on flowers, and if all else failed, I could spend the remainder of the $300 I had budgeted on floral (the average floral budget where I work is between $500-$700), to get last minute bouquets if the quality of the flowers I had purchased from you failed me.

When the flowers arrived - well tracked, and early - after a plethora of informative and helpful emails keeping me up to date on the arrival and condition and treatment/care of my fresh flowers, I was simply astounded.  The callas were in perfect condition, and excellent in every way.  My sister (who is fluent in numerous languages)  even read the newspaper that the flowers were packed in to keep moisture from evaporating on the trip!  Long-stemmed, and ready to open perfectly on time with my ceremony two days later.  They were absolutely perfect, easy to work with, and the instructions provided via email were pertinent and helpful for those of my wedding party assisting me with construction of the arrangements, the bouquets, and the transportation.

The orchids were a story all themselves!  I ordered two different colors, and both of them matched beautifully with our dresses, as well as the ceremony and reception venues.  The colors on screens can vary when viewed on the internet, but these colors were very true on my screen.  They arrived in perfect condition, each of them with a separate water tube, and ready to be displayed almost immediately!  This originally worried me, as my ceremony was two days away, but myself and my wedding party followed the directions provided by you via email to the letter, and it is now a week - that’s right, an entire 7 days after the arrival of the flowers, AND after my ceremony and reception, and I still am wearing fully-opened, firm and healthy orchid blooms in my hair to work!  I have had so many compliments on my 2-3 ‘real’-looking blooms that look absolutely perfect.  No one believes me when I say they are ACTUALLY real blooms - from a company I ordered from over the internet!

I cannot say how much these flowers enhanced my special day, and gave everyone who attended that ’shock’.  I received many compliments from friends, family, bridal party, and staff alike regarding the quality of the blooms.  Our photographer - who strictly photographs weddings - actually turned to me and said, “My compliments to your florist.  The flowers look gorgeous and fresh”.  Of course, I had the advantage of knowing how to arrange the flowers, but it wasn’t the arrangements (which were simple) that continued to receive compliments.  The blooms themselves were amazing and perfect in every way.

In short, I commend your company for quality, customer service & information, prompt arrivals, and overall satisfaction.  On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the best, I would easily rate your flowers and attached service as a 15.  Thank you so much for helping me make my day stand out and my pictures radiate elegance.

Dear Grower’s Box,
