With wedding season right around the corner, we have received many inquiries regarding our freeze dried rose petals.  It often appears as though every website has their own way of calculating the quantity of freeze dried rose petals, we thought we would piece together a little entry to help straighten things out…

The following are rough guidelines for determining the quantity of freeze dried rose petals that you will need. Please keep in mind that these are GUIDELINES. Every customer has their own idea of what ‘light’, ‘medium’, or ‘heavy’ coverage is… but these guidelines should help as you calculate how many you need:

1 cup = about 60 freeze dried rose petals

Light Aisle Coverage = 1 cup per square foot
Medium Aisle Coverage = 2 cups per square foot
Heavy Aisle Coverage = 3+ cups per square foot

Light Table Coverage = 3-4 cups per table
Medium Table Coverage = 5-6 cups per table
Heavy Coverage = 7-8 cups per table

Flower Girl’s Basket = 6-8 cups per basket
