Tulips - 400 stems

The Grower's Box proudly offers Tulips year-round!  Tulips are an EXTREMELY popular flower and are increasingly used as wholesale flowers and wedding flowers!  As you prepare for your wedding or event, please keep in mind that there are two primary seasons for Tulips:

Description: Prime Tulip season begins in late December and ends around Mother's Day (mid-May).  During the early part of this season, the Tulips can be very tall - up to 24" in some instances!  As the 'prime season' winds down, the Tulips taper down to about 14" in height.  During the 'prime season' you will find some excellent deals on Tulips!

Once 'prime season' comes to a close - and for the remainder of the year - "Ice Tulips" become available.  "Ice Tulips" earned their name because the bulbs are kept in coolers ('on ice') and are brought out in cycles and placed in greenhouses where they are tricked into thinking it is spring - producing a beautiful bloom.  'Ice Tulips' usually stand about 12" to 14" in height with the exception of white varieties which are almost always smaller.

Color specific orders are acceptable with the exception of about 2 weeks prior to major floral holidays: Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Halloween, and Christmas.  Please be advised that during these holiday periods we may  not be able to fulfill your order as specified.

Availability: Tulips are available year-round from our flower farms in California. 

This package consists of 400 stems of Tulips carefully packed in bunches of 10 stems.

All orders for this product must be placed at least 10 days prior to your desired delivery date.  

We highly recommend our customers schedule the tulips for delivery 3 days prior to their event.  The tulips are shipped out of water in an early blooming stage and do require some time to re-hydrate and open properly. Please visit our flower care section for complete care instructions.
