Ginger is one of the most recognized and most popular tropical flowers on the market.
Description: These gorgeous Hawaiian tropicals stand over 4 feet tall and are best characterized by their long sturdy stems capped by a striking red or pink bloom that measure about 8 inches in length. Ginger can be left long for use in large arrangements or presentations or can be cut short for use in smaller bouquets and centerpieces.
Availability: Ginger is available year-round from our tropical flower farms in Hawaii.
This package consists of a total of 50 stems of Ginger and includes a mixture of both red and pink Ginger. Tropical flowers are quite hardy and under proper care can last up to 2 weeks. Please follow the care instructions below for the best results.
Please be advised that we do require all orders for Ginger to be placed at least 10 days prior to your desired delivery date.
We highly recommend customers schedule this package for delivery at least 3 days prior to their event. These tropical flowers and foliage are hardy and under proper care will last about 2 weeks.
General Care Guidelines:
- Unpack carefully.
- Trim 1/2 to 1 inch from the end of each stem.
- Place the flowers in a clean vase with clean room temperature water.
- Wet flower heads and foliage daily to prevent dehydration.
- Keep flowers away from heat sources, air conditioning ducts, and out of direct sunlight.
- Ginger and Heliconia should be stored at temperatures above 65 degrees F.
- Clean the vase and re-cut the stems every few days or as needed.
